Collage Art with Syrian Textiles and Other Materials with Nada Odeh (3-18-23)
$50.00

Experience a day of creativity and textile-based collage-making with Nada Odeh, a Syrian artist and activist.

Nada was born and raised in Damascus. She also lived in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates before coming to the U.S. in 2013 due to the conflict and revolution in her country.

Middle Eastern colors and small details of her heritage influence her art. The key theme in her current artwork is Syrian refugees in camps and the Syrian people. Recently, she has focused more on displaced Syrian women in exile. Nada holds an M.A. in Museum Studies from Syracuse University and received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Damascus University.

Course fee of $50 includes all supplies. Registration is limited.
