Stitch Together is a space for garment sewists to gather and socialize. Our monthly meetings are a time to be creative, learn from other sewists in our community, and socialize in person.
This month, member Bridget Spitler has graciously agreed to share her tuffet tips. If you have questions about the materials and tools you need or how to prepare up-cycled ties, this will be the time to learn! If you're not into making tuffets, it's still an opportunity to meet with other sewists, share a successful project, or ask for help from a knowledgeable group.
Each attendee in encouraged to share any item(s) they've made with the group—whether a hit or a miss! Please remember to bring an item or two with you if you're so inclined. Ideas include: garments, home goods, personal items, artistic expressions from your creative soul...
An hour will be set aside for work on your own project, so please bring along anything you'll need. Cutting tables, ironing stations, and a couple sewing machines will be available. We'll also have some ties and other supplies available if you want to practice prepping those under Bridget's guidance during your own project time. It's entirely up to you!
