When people create together they find peace of mind, happiness, and well being.
The Community Fabric Project is a year-long activity in which Stitch Buffalo is partnering with other nonprofit organizations and businesses to craft collaborative textiles, weaving people and communities together across the city. For Stitch Buffalo, creativity has been and remains a light in the dark, but for refugee women and the broader Buffalo community it is a crucial source of income, cultural preservation, and community building. We believe creativity is resilience. When people create together they find peace of mind, happiness, and well being. Now more than ever we need to come together from all corners of the city to demonstrate that all our successes are mutual and contribute to a community of trust that uplifts us all.
