Painting on Fabric with Natural Dyes—August 29, 2026 (10:00am–2:00pm)
Discover the beauty of botanical color in this hands-on workshop exploring fabric painting with natural dyes. Using plant-based pigments, participants will learn techniques for applying natural color directly to fabric to create expressive patterns and one-of-a-kind textile artwork. We'll cover color preparation, brush application, and methods for building depth and texture using dyes derived from flowers, leaves, roots, and other natural materials.
Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, this class emphasizes creativity, experimentation, and sustainable art practices. All materials are provided, and you'll leave with your own hand-painted textile piece along with the knowledge and confidence to continue exploring natural dye painting at home.
