Limited Edition
In 2014, one of Stitch Buffalo’s first projects was called “Stitched Stories.” In it, participants used hand embroidery to create images of their lives at home—before they were upended by violence, war, and genocide. Nearly ten years later, we wanted to revisit this project from a new perspective. This time, we asked members of the Refugee Women’s Workshop to stitch images of their new home.
A small collection of these pieces, seen below, are now being offered for those who wish to support Stitch Buffalo through a $500 purchase (please see notes on income tax exemption within individual listings).
Each piece is a one-of-a-kind, hand-embroidered original, ready for display. When it’s gone, it’s gone—so choose yours today!
