Marilyn will lead you through learning the basic finger weaving process while making a key chain. Once the key chain is complete you will move into making a belt or long strap for a tote bag, choosing your own color palette.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
No previous experience required.

INSTRUCTOR:
Marilyn Isaacs is a member of the Tuscarora Nation who learned traditional finger weaving as a teenager.

Stitch Buffalo is committed to fostering sustainability practices and reducing waste in the textile industry. In this workshop, we will strive to minimize waste and work as much as possible with supplies that have been rescued for reuse.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the nature of our classes and the preparation required, class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend a class, your registration fee cannot be refunded or transferred to another class.

Class Cancellation by Stitch Buffalo: Classes must meet a minimum enrollment in order to run. If Stitch Buffalo needs to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will be notified 3–5 days before the scheduled class, whenever possible. In the event that Stitch Buffalo cancels a class, participants will receive a full refund of their class fee.

For each class, Stitch Buffalo offers one seat at half-price to a student or community member who otherwise could not afford to attend. To inquire about availability, please e-mail us. We have waiting lists for many classes, so if you register for this discounted class, please consider it a commitment to attend.
