Hand-Embroidered Birds and Hearts Wall Garland—by Abeera

\With their ability to roam the earth as well as soar up into the sky, birds have long symbolized freedom. They are often seen as representative of the soul’s journey in pursuit of higher knowledge. More colloquially, seeing (and seeking) birds is a popular hobby that connects us with nature.

Our hand-embroidered products are each one of a kind—as individual as the woman who made it! Every piece is lovingly crafted in our studio or in the home of a resettled refugee woman from Buffalo, NY. All Stitch Buffalo products are made using upcycled materials, donated by the community and provided to our artists at no charge.

ABOUT THIS WALL ART
Each bird is constructed of felt panels, which are hand-embroidered and/or beaded by the artist. The artist then assembles the panels, using hand stitching, and fills each bird with polyester fiber fill for a light yet study construction. The birds are hand strung with wool discs for spacers. A rustic metal cone bell finishes the bottom of the wall hanging.

Size: 20 inches long (plus ribbon hanging loop), each bird is approximately 5 inches wide from beak to tail

Please note: We try to provide color accurate previews, but all screens are different.
