We need your help!
As part of the "America 250" project by Women for Peace, Stitch Buffalo is creating a work of art that will be submitted for an exhibit in Washington, DC—and we want to include your voice.
On Wednesday, April 1 (4:00–6:00pm), people of all ages are invited to visit Stitch Buffalo and make their mark on our Community Fabric Project canvas. Using colors, shapes, patterns, symbols, and words, we invite you to express your hope for what America can be.
Prompts for your artwork might include:
What do you feel called to protect?
What do you hope our nation can become?
What do you believe we can build together?
This collaborative art project will capture perspectives from people of all ages and backgrounds in the Buffalo community, to explore our shared values and envision a world where everyone can enjoy safe, happy lives. Please join us at to make our submission reflect the real lives and hopes of people in Buffalo.
We look forward to creating with you! All ages are welcome, no experience needed.
This event is presented through a generous grant from M&T Bank, and with support from Goodwill of Western New York.
