Participants will create a 24×24-inch custom rug featuring one name or word (up to six letters). Examples include PEACE, HELLO, SMILE, names such as MAYA, MALIK, CARTER, or even a Buffalo-style option like HOME716. This beginner-friendly session will cover text layout, tufting technique, and finishing. All participants will leave with a completed rug.

The registration fee of $75 includes instruction ($50), all supplies ($25), and use of tools.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Jaton Baker is the owner of That's Tuft Creative Co., Buffalo's custom rug experience. She specializes in creating handmade tufted rugs and teaching workshops. Her classes allow participants of all skill levels to design custom rugs in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Jaton is passionate about making fiber art approachable and inspiring others to explore new ways of self expression through tufting.
