Introduction to Leather Tooling and Stamping—October 31, 2026

This class will walk you through the steps of using tooling stamps and a swivel knife to make a set of four custom coasters, a key chain, and/or a bookmark. Follow the instructor’s demo, then branch out on your own to create designs and experiment to your heart's content! Students will be using a swivel knife, small hand tools, and a hammer. Ages 16+.

SUPPLIES
The class fee includes instruction ($50) and all materials ($10).

Katie Charnock is a leatherworker and owner of TORBA Handcrafted in Buffalo, NY specializing in vegetable-tanned leather prized for its durability, minimal environmental impact, and lasting beauty.

Due to the nature of this class and the preparation required, class fees are non-refundable.

For each class, Stitch Buffalo offers one seat at half-price (excluding materials fee) to a student or community member who otherwise could not afford to attend. To inquire about availability, please e-mail us. We have waiting lists for many classes, so if you register for this discounted class, please consider it a commitment to attend.
