Kids Workshop (Ages 8–12): Hand Loom Weaving Wall Art—April 25, 2026 (2:00–4:00pm)
$30.00

Play with color and texture as you learn to weave by hand on a loom. The soft yarn, wool roving, and scrap fabric go from being individual materials into a unique and one-of-a-kind fabric creation unlike any other—perfect to use as wall art (or a tiny rug?)! The rhythmic and repetitive motion of weaving is calming while activating your senses.

We’ll provide the materials and space, and you come with curiosity and an eagerness to learn something new! Even if weaving not new to you, come and enjoy the company of others while you craft your own one-of-a-kind tapestry from scratch.

Safety and Comfort. There will be a short break and light snacks provided to keep us going, but please bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated. Also, please be aware that this is a working studio and shop‚ so screaming, yelling, and running are prohibited. We must be mindful of the space we are in and respectful of the tools and people all around us. We will be using small and sharp tools that we must use safely and carefully so as to not harm ourselves, others, or the tools themselves. Thank you!
