Peace Pins for Social Justice: Hand-Embroidered by Mandari

Peace Pins for Social Justice: Hand-Embroidered by Mandari
Stitch Buffalo’s mini peace pins are a symbol of our commitment to advancing social justice for Black, Brown, Refugee, Immigrant, and other underrepresented people. Each pin is hand-embroidered by an artist in Stitch Buffalo's Refugee Women's Workshop—and each is one of a kind, like the woman who created it.
Every pin purchased benefits both the woman who stitched it and our social justice fund, dedicated to supporting programs and organizations that strive to make our communities equitable for all.
The pins in this collection are 1.5 inches in diameter (smaller than our normal peace pins) so they are easy to wear on a lapel, cap, or other garment.
Our hand-embroidered pins are each one of a kind—as individual as the woman who made it. Every pin is lovingly crafted in our studio or in the home of a resettled refugee woman from Buffalo, NY. All pins are made using upcycled materials, donated by the community and provided to our artists at no charge.
Materials: Pins are constructed using two layers of high-quality felt, stitched with cotton thread. Some have added beadwork. 1.5 inches wide x 1.5 inches tall.
