Join us for a festive day of hands-on making, color, creativity, and textile arts! Stitch Buffalo’s Holiday Gift-Making Camp invites young makers (ages 8–14) to explore a variety of fiber and surface-design techniques in a warm, welcoming studio environment. Students will leave with a collection of handmade items perfect for holiday gifting!

Morning Session

Star Weaving | 10:00–11:30 AM
Students will learn the basics of weaving by creating bright, geometric star weavings using yarn, looms, and colorful fibers.

Indigo-Dyed Tote Bags | 11:30 AM–12:30 PM
Students will fold, tie, and dip-dye cotton tote bags using natural indigo, discovering the magic of resist patterns and slow craft.

Lunch | 12:30–1:00 PM

A delicious taco bar (including vegetarian and vegan options), plus a festive cookies. Water will be provided, or students can bring their preferred beverage.

Afternoon Session

Block-Printed Tea Towels | 1:00–2:30 PM
Using hand-carved print blocks and fabric ink, students will design and print their own custom tea towels to take home.

Mitten & Sweater Garland | 2:30–3:30 PM
Students will create a cozy winter garland—perfect for decorating a room or gifting to someone special.

Closing Activity

Gift Wrapping & Tag Making | 3:30–4:00 PM
We’ll wrap all finished projects so makers can head home with beautiful, gift-ready creations.
