Intermediate Machine Sewing: Using Slippery Fabrics—September 12, 2026 (10:00am–1:00pm)
Silk, chiffon, rayon, and other slippery fabrics can shift, stretch, and fray—leading to frustration and uneven results. In this class, students will learn stabilization strategies, proper needle and thread selection, tension adjustments, and finishing techniques that protect fine fabrics. With these skills, you’ll be able to approach delicate materials with patience and skill.

Please note: This class is NOT appropriate for absolute beginners. Students must know how to thread and operate a sewing machine and should have completed at least a few basic projects within the last 5 years. All tools and supplies will be provided.
