Tired of your phone falling out mid-downward dog—or worse, having nowhere to put it at all? In this practical sewing workshop, you’ll learn two valuable pocket upgrades: how to add a discreet patch pocket inside the back waistband of yoga pants (perfect for securely stashing your phone), and how to lengthen the front pocket bags inside jeans to make them actually useful. You can vastly improve the functionality of your garments with just a few sewing skills! Bring your own jeans and yoga pants to work on, and leave with more storage space (and more satisfaction) in your wardrobe.

PREREQUISITES:
Please note: This class is NOT appropriate for absolute beginners. Students must know how to thread and operate a sewing machine and should have completed at least a few basic projects within the last 5 years. Completion of Stitch Buffalo’s “Introduction to Machine Sewing” class or equivalent experience is required.

SUPPLIES:
Students should bring their own garments: one pair of jeans and one pair of yoga (or similar) pants. If you are unable to bring your own garments, please let us know in advance and we will provide sample pieces for you to work on.
