Looking for a creative way to wind down at the end of the week? Or kick off your weekend with some inspiration and “me time”? Join us at Stitch Buffalo for our monthly Machine Sewing Open Studio, a relaxed Friday evening gathering for anyone who enjoys sewing and design.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Bring your current project and settle in at our spacious studio, where you’ll have access to extra-large cutting tables, ironing stations, and other professional tools. You can bring your own sewing machine, or use one of our studio models. Whether you’re working on a garment, altering thrifted finds, or experimenting with a new idea, this is a welcoming space to sew at your own pace in the company of others who share your passion.

Two experienced sewists will be present to offer light guidance and help troubleshoot when needed—think of it as friendly support rather than formal instruction. Participants are also encouraged to exchange ideas, ask questions, and learn from one another as the evening unfolds.

Please Note: Attendees should be confident operating a sewing machine independently. This event is not appropriate for absolute beginners. Ages 16+.

NEED SUPPLIES?
Our Second Stitch shop will be open during the event, making it easy to pick up fabric and notions—or inspiration for your next project.

LEADERS
Jane Cameron and Andrea Kuettel are Stitch Buffalo board members and workshop leaders with experience in a wide range of machine-sewing disciplines.
